Montauk’s Navy Beach will reopen for the 10th season on Friday, April 26th at 5pm. For opening weekend, the restaurant will be open for dinner Friday through Sunday and lunch on Saturday and Sunday.
Montauk’s favorite beachfront restaurant will kick off their Season 10 events with the annual fundraiser for the Navy SEAL Foundation on June 22nd. In late July, the popular beach and boating destination will celebrate with a Riviera-themed Anniversary Weekend. The restaurant will also offer new retail collaborations including a signature print commissioned by local artist Alison Seiffer as well as a limited edition scented candle with Brooklyn-based JOYA Studio. Retail items and collaboration pieces will soon be available to purchase online via the restaurant’s website shop, launching in June. The final component to the 10th anniversary celebration is the launch of a new Montauk Scholarship program for graduating East Hampton High School Students. Beginning in the spring of 2019, Navy Beach will award two graduating seniors with a $1,000 scholarship per student towards their college education.
During the 2019 season, the restaurant will highlight throwback specials including past season favorites like the Lobster Tagliatelle and Red Curry Coconut Tilefish. The new menu feature signature staples and new menu items including a Kale Grain Salad with wheat berries, red quinoa, crouton and egg-less Caesar dressing; a Maryland Crabcake with cucumber kimchee and smoked yogurt; and a dry-aged NY Strip with crispy smashed potatoes, garlic butter and wonder bread.
Navy Beach is honored to host its seventh annual fundraiser for the Navy SEAL Foundation (NSF) with a kickoff cocktail party on Saturday, June 22nd from 3-5pm. During the 2018 season, the restaurant raised over $30,000 to support the Navy SEAL Foundation and its charitable efforts, bringing the restaurant’s to-date funds raised total to $150,000. Tickets for this year’s event will be $50 per person, $25 for veterans, and free for children under 16 and can be purchase here . Over the last nine seasons, the restaurant has become a go-to-destination for its rosé selections, and as a result, the restaurant will continue to expand upon its increasingly popular offerings this season. This year’s list will include over 25 selections featuring a wide variety of flavor profiles with selections from all over the world. The cocktail menu will feature some throwback favorites as well as craft cocktail staples made with fresh ingredients.
Yachting clientele will be happy to hear that the beachfront restaurant’s popular “Torpedo” service will be back this season offering a launch running weekends from late June through Labor Day. Yachts anchored in Fort Pond Bay may also order delivery from the restaurant.
As an increasingly popular special events and weddings venue, Navy Beach continues to host private events, rehearsal dinners and wedding ceremonies and receptions throughout the season.
