Immerse yourself in the restaurant’s vintage nautical atmosphere, seamlessly extending from the bar to the dining room. Sand-colored walls, sea-hued coverings, and exposed wood beams set the backdrop. The expansive bar area features a 35-foot antique wooden bar as its centerpiece, adorned with vibrant nautical flags, brass porthole windows, and hardwood floors. Nautical blue-topped tables are scattered throughout the dining room and bar, offering breathtaking water views of the beach and Block Island Sound through wall-to-wall windows. Banquettes and bistro chairs provide ample seating for guests to enjoy both daytime scenery and spectacular nightly sunsets. In the dining room, shadow boxes showcase vintage swimsuits, glamour shots of 1950s bathing beauties, and timeless Naval propaganda drawings, adding vivid splashes of color to the walls.
In 2010, partners Frank & Kristina Davis, Franklin Ferguson, and Leyla Marchetto joined forces to establish this beloved local gem and Montauk waterfront dining destination. Frank, a graduate of Cornell University School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration, boasts a track record of creating and investing in various businesses within and beyond the hospitality industry. Franklin oversees the restaurant’s operations with his management team, drawing from his refined operational experience gained at independent restaurants and prominent restaurant and hotel groups nationwide. Kristina, as Creative Director, and Leyla, handling public relations and marketing, contribute their expertise to the venture. Longtime Wainscott residents, Frank and Kristina have cherished the East End for as long as they can remember. Frank, an enthusiastic boater, often explores the waters around Montauk, Sag Harbor, and Shelter Island with Kristina and their twin daughters, Alexa and Anna. Franklin and Leyla, equally embraced by the local community, reside in Montauk with their son Caelan.
