(Montauk, NY … June 2020) Navy Beach (16 Navy Road, Montauk, NY, 11954, www.navybeach.com, 631-668-6868),dubbed a “perfect destination for summer dining” by The New York Times, will reopen for the 11th season on Thursday, June 25thth at 5:30 p.m. Navy Beach recently announced expansion to the Caribbean with Navy Beach St. Thomas at Yacht Haven Grande and Navy Beach St. Maarten at Yacht Club at Isle de Sol, slated to reopen this Fall/Winter.

The restaurant’s prime location in Montauk on a 200-foot stretch of private beach on the idyllic Fort Pond Bay offers outdoor space and seating for dining guests.  Navy Beach will only be open to guests with confirmed reservations for lunch or dinner this season.  Due to the NY State limited capacity constraints and social distancing guidelines, the restaurant will not be able to accommodate walk-in patrons or those looking to come to Navy Beach for drinks only.  Reservations may be made by calling the restaurant at (631) 668-6868 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. All reservations must be confirmed in advance of arrival.  In the event of inclement weather, outdoor reservations will be cancelled due to current limits placed on indoor seating capacity.

Many safety protocols will be in place throughout the season including: hand sanitizing dispensers; a frequent sanitizing protocol for all common surfaces on premises; staff utilizing face masks and gloves. Guests are required to wear face masks at all times when not seated at their table. All seating will be arranged with ample distancing according to CDC, NY State, and East Hampton Town mandate.

The 2020 menu features signature staples and new menu items including a Tuna Crudo with papaya, pickled serrano, wakame, lemon soy and toasted sesame; Chopped Kale Salad with toasted garbanzo beans, parmesan croutons, and egg-less Caesar dressing; a Jumbo Lump Crabcake with an apple / chayote slaw, and grain mustard aioli; Soy-Glazed Tilefish with sushi rice, goma wakame, black sesame and red curry coconut; and a dry-aged Cowboy Ribeye with crispy smashed potatoes, chimichurri, roasted garlic butter and wonder bread. Select menu items will also be available for takeout along with the beverage menu. Boat deliveries to the Fort Pond Bay will also be available beginning in July.

Yachting clientele will be happy to hear that the beachfront restaurant’s popular launch service will be back this season running weekends beginning July through Labor Day. In addition, the restaurant’s daybeds and sun lounges will be available for booking from 12 to 4pm and 4 to 8pm, offering small groups (of up to 10 guests) an area to safely enjoy lunch or dinner from their own comfortable seating area overlooking Fort Pond Bay.

As an increasingly popular special events and weddings venue, Navy Beach continues to host private events, rehearsal dinners and wedding ceremonies and receptions throughout the season. Be sure to check the calendar online at or call ahead for closures due to private parties.
