Navy Beach will continue its support of the Navy SEAL Foundation throughout the 2016 season, enabling guests to support the cause directly each time they dine at the restaurant. From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, a donation of $1 will be added to each dining check in support of the Navy SEAL Foundation. Guests will also be able to increase the value of the donation if they like. In an effort to improve upon the $25,000 raised for the foundation last year ($60,000 since 2013), Navy Beach will again match the first $2,500 raised through this season’s efforts.
Honoring Montauk’s Local Naval History
“Navy Beach has been truly fortunate over the last three years to both work with Navy SEAL Foundation to assist the Naval Special Warfare community and to also be able to sponsor our efforts within East Hampton and Montauk where support for our Veterans and patriotic roots run deep. We enter our fourth year of fundraising for the SEALs with renewed enthusiasm and support from the local community,” said Navy Beach partner Frank Davis. “Over the last four years, Navy Beach has worked tirelessly to raise funds and awareness in support of the Navy SEAL Foundation’s mission of service to the warriors and families of Naval Special Warfare. Each year we are humbled by the generosity of Navy Beach and the Montauk and larger Hamptons’ community, as well as the spectacular beauty of the venue. The support generated is critical to those we serve and we cannot thank you enough” said Marc Wolf, Director of Development, New York Region, Navy SEAL Foundation.
