First established in 2010, Navy Beach quickly became Montauk’s Favorite Beachfront Restaurant. Positioned on 200-feet of private beach overlooking Fort Pond Bay, the laid-back, family-friendly eatery has also become a hot-spot for yachts and a sought-out destination wedding venue. The restaurant offers casual coastal cuisine paired with an eclectic wine list, including one of the largest selections of rosé wines in the Hamptons. Add in the unforgettable sunsets and it’s understandable that Newsday named Navy Beach one of the top five water-view dining spots on the East End. The restaurant’s philanthropic efforts center around its support of the Navy SEAL Foundation, for which Navy Beach has raised over $175,000 since 2013.
The original Navy Beach location, located in Montauk, New York is located on a 200-foot private beach looking west over Fort Pond Bay and Gardiner’s Island, with breathtaking views over the water during the day, and spectacular sunsets at night. The restaurant’s prime location offers both interior dining in the nautically themed bar and dining room, as well as outside at picnic tables on the beach. The beachfront location welcomes safe boaters to anchor in the protected waters of Fort Pond Bay (41° 02′.7″N, 71° 57′.6″W), which was once occupied by the US Navy, and where two Navy piers are still part of the water landscape.
The December 2019 opening of Navy Beach, St. Thomas will be followed by an additional opening in a nearby venue along the waterfront promenade at Yacht Haven Grande: ISLA Cantina, a vibrant Mexican eatery opening late 2021 with an indoor-outdoor bar and overwater dining patio splashed with an eclectic mix of colors, fabrics and Mexican-inspired art to enhance the lively and communal atmosphere. Highlights from the menu at ISLA include Tacos al Pastor, Spicy Tuna Tostada, Mexican Street Corn, and Peanut Butter Stuffed Jalapeños. Once both venues are open, Navy Beach will operate almost 5,000 square feet of deliciousness at Yacht Haven Grande, plus onsite catering for events and deliveries to the surrounding marina and yachts.
Opening in late 2021, Navy Beach, St. Maarten will raise the bar even further as the brand’s new flagship when it opens in Simpson Bay at the Yacht Club at Isle de Sol (home to 40 mega-yacht berths). Following a multi-million dollar redesign of this exclusive lagoon-front facility, Navy Beach, St. Maarten will boast a variety of enticing indoor-outdoor elements and will be able to comfortably host events for up to 250 people in this sprawling two-story venue that includes an intimate water-view dining area with cozy banquette seating, a 20-seat horseshoe-shaped teak bar, a gaming area, and a handful of coveted daybeds facing the expansive central swimming pool with surrounding tropically landscaped patio and lounge seating.
To take it a coveted step further, the über-sexy Sky Lounge overlooking the marina and ongoing “yacht show” will be like an elevated island in and of itself, ideal for smaller gatherings (up to 75 people) and exclusive affairs. The Sky Lounge will be outfitted with a full bar, seating and events space with unobstructed views of the surrounding yachts, waterfront and offers a perfect perch to watch the sunsets that have become synonymous with Navy Beach.
