\t\t\t\tNavy Beach announced the results of a third successful season of raising awareness for and funds on behalf of the Navy SEAL Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that provides immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community and their families. In 2015, the restaurant\u2019s efforts raised just over $25,000 in funds for the organization, bringing the three-year total of fundraising for NSF to over $60,000.<\/p>\n
In 2015 restaurant\u2019s varied efforts included a \u201cdine & donate\u201d program running from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day during which lunch and dinner checks collected at least $1 per meal while allowing customers to donate additional funds at their own discretion; an annual cocktail party fundraiser in June that was attended by many local residents and business owners as well as active and retired members of the Naval Special Warfare community. Once again, the restaurant also joined forces with jewelry and accessories brand MIANSAI, and collaborated on a limited edition bracelet commemorating the restaurant\u2019s local and local Naval history as well as a pop-up from which a percentage of sales were donated to the organization, further increasing the success of the third season of fundraising for the Navy SEAL Foundation.<\/p>\n
Navy Beach is honored to support the Navy SEAL Foundation for the third year in a row, bringing our fundraising total to over $60,000 for the foundation,\u201dsaid partner Frank Davis. \u201cWe feel fortunate to be able to put our efforts towards assisting the Navy SEAL Foundation\u2018programs with purpose\u2019 and in a small way supporting these warriors and their families. The experience has been rewarding and the local community\u2019s response and support has been tremendous. Next year\u2019s kickoff event will be held at the restaurant on Saturday, June 18th,, 2016. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the Navy SEAL Foundation in the future and continue to look for even more ways to help increase awareness for the foundation and its efforts while also helping to raise the funds required for the organization to carry out its core mission: Honoring our warriors.
